Golf Lessons

I don’t think I have met a golfer that did not want to improve. Have you? So, why are many golfers not taking golf lessons? Is it because of a bad experience with a teaching professional? Is it too expensive? Perhaps you have friend or a relative that can help you with your golf game, right? And it’s free! The golf lesson, instruction and coaching should help, right? And you are certain for improvement, right? I mean, I would think so. The golf instructor and student must be on the same page. It is your responsibility as well as the teaching professional’s responsibility for your improvement. How much time do you have for practice? Are you willing to devote the time for practice? Are you going to do your homework and do drills for improvement? Is your instructor actually listening to what you want to achieve. Does he or show know what your specific goals are? Maybe you do not want to change your swing, but you need help on how to play better. Maybe you need help on specific shots. Maybe you just need some coaching and not necessarily an overhaul of your golf swing. Perhaps you just need someone to watch and listen to you. You maybe be surprised on how effective that is from my perspective. So, if you or friend is in need of help, please call Tempe, Arizona Golf Instructor, Rob Camacho for your next golf lesson. Rob Camacho, Golf Instruction is proud to offer golf lessons, golf playing lessons, putting lessons, chipping lessons, pitching lessons, bunker lessons, coaching in Chandler, Tempe, Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, and Scottsdale, Arizona. Short Game Lessons

The game within the game. The short shots: putting, pitching, chipping and greenside bunker shots. This is the area where the best players shine; however, this area can be the great equalizer between a beginner and a seasoned player. There are multiple shots that can be played as well as various techniques.

So, do you know when to chip or pitch? Should you use your putter off the green? What is a pitch and run? What is a chip and run? Do you know how to hit the lob shot? Do you need to use your sandwedge in the sand? Do you have the right putter? Do you really need a lob wedge? Is your putter the right length, lie angel, head-shape, weight, grip size, and the right appearance? Do you have the right bounce for your wedges? Bounce? What? Do you really know how to practice for a better short game? If you or you know some that needs help with the short game, please contact Arizona Golf Instructor, Rob Camacho. Arizona Golf Instructor, Rob Camacho offers short game lessons for adults and junior golfers in Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Ahwatukee, and Gilbert Arizona.

Are you practicing your golf swing?

When you go out to the driving range are you really practicing? What is it that you want to achieve? Ok, I know you are there to improve your swing for better golf. Are you doing any drills? You know the ones in all the mags and books about how to cure your fault(s). The next time you are on the driving range look around to see if anyone is engaging in a set of drills. You will probably find that most are not.

The word practice in Webster’s Dictionary is defined as: to perform or work at repeatedly so as to become proficient. Are you doing drills repeatedly? Are you aiming at a specific target? Are you playing shots on the range as you would on the golf course? Perhaps you maybe be just hitting ball after ball and going through the motions. Maybe you are not sure how to practice. If you or a friend is in need of help with your golf game, call Rob Camacho, Arizona Golf Instructor. The Golf Playing Lesson 2

So, you have taken a golf lesson or a series lessons and you are ready to play better golf, right? But sometimes our driving range sessions do not transfer over to the golf course. Why is that? Is it because we tend to put too much pressure on our selves? Perhaps you drive well, but your short game is not where it should be. Perhaps your short game is good, but your long game is off. Another factor could be that you may not know how far you hit each club. You may not know how to play certain shots such as, the ball below or above your feet, fades, draws, fairway bunkers, punch shots, shots with or against the wind, and the many others.

The golf playing lesson does not mean that your golf swing will be overhauled and you have to start all over again. You just might need some on the golf course coaching. Yes, golf coaching. Why not take your golf game to the level where you want it to be. The best learning environment in my opinion is on the golf course.
