Arizona Beginner Golf Lessons

Technorati Profile

Have you ever given a golf tip to a fellow golfer (stranger) on the driving range that was a beginner? I bet you felt good about helping a fellow golf brother or golf sister, right? I am very fortunate to help people with golf and to do this for a living is a blessing. I am very thankful for all the help I got from my father, mother, golf professionals, my students, and my wife.

The game of golf has provided me a profession of a lifetime. I enjoy assisting people of all abilities. But the real satisfaction is watching a beginner golfer send their first ball in the air. There are times that I am more excited about what my student has just accomplished then they are.

At one time we seasoned golfers were beginners too. I remember my first drive that I hit right on the screws! I mean that literally – my golf club (real wood) at that time circa 1980 did have screws right on the club face. I must have been about 9 years old.

The best part of being a beginner golfer is no expectations of performance. You can always say to yourself, “I am a beginner golfer and I am just learning how to play golf.” We all have stories from our humble beginnings. Do you remember your first round of golf? What about the many times you tried to hit the guy driving the golf ball picker-upper on the driving range? And what about the time when you were a kid and you got to drive the golf cart for the first time. Well, I sure we can recall all the good memories from our golfing past.
