For example, green fees are discounted for junior golfers at most golf courses. The major golf manufacturers provide junior golf equipment at affordable prices. Junior golf lessons are more popular now than ever because of the Tiger Woods factor. Since 1996, the year Tiger Woods turned pro, more children are playing golf.
For many parents, golf is a road map for their children’s future. Golf builds character, self-discipline, honesty, integrity, respect, and patience. There are many levels for junior golfers to participate, such as, junior group clinics, competitive tournament golf, parent child golf events, school break golf camps, college prep golf academies, and many others.
