Do you chip with your pitching wedge, sand wedge, or lob wedge? Perhaps you use all three on occasion. Oh, and you may have a “gap” wedge too, sorry. But if you use all of them, then here is a suggestion with regards to “spin” and “roll”. Choose your weapon of choice and proceed with this if you want more roll: Grip your club to full length. For more “spin” so that the ball bites and stops: Grip down on the club. You can vary how much you grip down. You will see a difference on how the ball reacts by just altering your hands high or low onto your golf club.
