Chipping Short Distances

There are situations when you need to chip just off the green versus using your putter. Experiment with this: use this type of grip – a reverse overlap grip. What? Place your left index finger on top of your right hand fingers. gro

The purpose is to use your putting stroke with the reverse overlap grip. What you find is the following:

1. Hands working together as “one”
2. No “wrist action”
3. Distance control
4. Option to use any club in your bag
5. Works well with lob wedge over a bunker to a tight pin
